i've got so many wonderful born again christian friends that express concern, that's a light way of saying it, that latter day saints come across as being so o works oriented. That's not the doctrine of grace that we find in the bible, nor in the book of mormon. We know that it is by grace that we are saved. But what do we do to open ourselves to the grace that god is giving us so freely? Instead of stiff arming the grace of god we have, we have open arms to receive it.
