In the mid 2010s there were all of these like exciting upstart publications and new mediums you know I remember in journalism school VR journalism was gonna be the next frontier. Here we are in 2023 and they're all set down and BuzzFeed is all sitting down so that led to this book project for me. How did our jobs and our identities become so entwined? Maybe separating yourself from your output or separating your self-worth from your work can actually lead to a healthier relationship to work and to life, she says.
