We lost about half of our beneficial microbes in the last 100 years. The sneaky ones that claim to be healthy and say, no added sugar, no calories, no this extra vitamins are the ones you need to be worried about. For me, when I did my personalized nutrition test was though, either most breads, even if they were brown and looked great, gave me a huge sugar spike and a dip afterwards. So it's about getting to know your breads.
