Gavin Price's video icon veneration is clearly an accretion 2405 he says quote Octavius that's the Christian. Gavin references certain sources who use arguments for let's say a kind of aniconism based on the invisibility of saints. John of Damascus will later argue that the incarnation somehow has changed something but that was lost on all the Antonites seen Christians nobody had this thought of oh well because of the incarnation it's changed now.
