Bidcoin has a libertarian heritage, herenne heritage in particular. There's also a whole world of of techno ideology that infuses bidcoin culture. The cypher punks hoped for far more than the twilight of ruin. They saw themselves not as writing out the failure of the modern order, but as the a rant of a new age of post human flourishing to come.
