"I think it was a fascinating experience for my kids, you know, to see the mother who only had eight weeks of Spanish, very limited Spanish said there for an hour speaking as much Spanish as possible with a mother who can hardly speak any English," she says. "When they see you think it's not really a big deal to make mistakes, then they're okay."
