associated motion is a fairly common kind of marking that typically goes on verbs. It's especially common in Amazonia and Australia, but it's not at all unusual elsewhere. Some languages use things we might call particles that says how the action relates to the dakdick center. And this is an inflectional category, not a derivational one.
