You're Dead to Me, You've Got a History Book
This is a time in papal history where politics gets pretty corrupt and nasty. A lot of popes get murdered and deposed, it feels very familiar for anyone paying attention to the current news. We're going to do an episode on it in the upcoming series of You're Dead to Me because it just needs unpacking. It's extraordinary, but you know, a pope put on trial, even though he's dead. They dig up his body and they put his skeleton on trial. So, yeah, history is full of extraordinary stories, but if you read the news recently, you'll start to go, hmm, feels familiar.
