Is There a Cash Advance Fee for Paying Taxes?
I don't think I've ever heard of anybody getting hit with a cash advance fee for paying taxes. One thing to know is that the if you're willing to give the government a loan, you can overpay your taxes and get the money back later. The irises website has a FAQ which says it should count as a regular purchase.
