The Relationship Is a No-Thingness
Could it be the only no-thingness that you can both know together? And is that quite sacred? Is that why we're talking about it? Any kind of between people is quite sacred. This is Plato's argument. The eros, when eros is turned that way, this is the whole point of the dialogue, the symposium. That's where we get rationality from. But of course we have to remember there are many kinds and this is of love. Right? Of course you not only love your romantic partner, you can love your children,. You can also have a deep platonic and that's intended friendship love.
