The Covenantal God of Scripture and the God of the Philosophers

Strict classical theism is identified by many as a view that is very influenced by particular streams of greek philosophy. But process theology, i should say, is equally a god of the philosophers writing. And there can be different aspects of the tradition that are more or less in line with scripture and not beholden to it. Alistair MacIntosh: There's a lot of messiness in early church history; you have to steer clear of adding another final standard beyond scripture.
