Conservation in the Dry South of Madagascar

Aims to rebuild fisheries with coastal communities in Madagascar. Opened a small area of reef to octopus fishing temporarily, using customary social code. When that reef reopened to fishing six months later, catches soared. Neighbouring villages drew up their own closures, spreading the model virally.
