The Role of the Anointed One
David is the prototype for the true anointed one, Jesus Christ. He gets anointed by the Holy Spirit descending upon him. The spirit drives him into the wilderness where he does battle with Satan. It's such a huge reality to have a biblical worldview. We can either belong to the kingdom of darkness or we can be transferred into the kingdom of light by belonging to Jesus.
