The Safety Cone of Marriage

Amy Carmichael talks about having to remove the safety cone of marriage when she was a single missionary serving in Japan. She had this really big fear that God would call her to be single, but yet she removed those safety cones and said, Lord, if you've called me to a life of singleness, I trust you. Both of these women had to face their greatest fear, yet as they removed themselves fully to God, they found incredible peace and purpose in everything they walked through. We must never forget that it is always safe to place our dreams, our future, and our life entirely in the nail-scarred hands of the one who died to save us.
