How to Spend Your Energy Where It Matters

I'm a big fan when I have my students look at artwork to turn it upside down and just see it for its design. One thing about the internet, which I will mention because I'm working on this language and design now is that it's brilliant as a tool. Let's say you want to know more about contemporary African American women artists. It all comes up. You can create files. And then you're down a rabbit hole for as long as you want to be. That happened later in life. Yes. Once again, it has to do with seeing things, not literally, but objectively. Who spends even 20 minutes in front of a painting? Let alone an hour.
