Boselna's 44 division was ordered south to the Italian front in November 1943. On 22nd of November, they began the journey south by train. A night of drinking too much wine and discussing politics followed after which Zelluna vowed never to talk about politics again. The fate of Italy was still on his mind a few days later when he was summoned to a conference in Rome. It made him wonder if Germany would share the same fate if it lost the war. So we always come back with firm resolve to fight until our homeland is secure.
