The Evolution of Political Power
The book is about the evolution of political power in post-modern societies. In an era of mechanical theoretical power and freedom, you either need a wall to keep you on one side of the road or a gun to your head. Whereas there's something like the implied power of like Foucault's biopolitics. And this is where it gets insidious and very depressing, because with psychopathical power, you don't even need the double yellow line. You just want to be the best at driving in a straight line as that will contribute to your identity.
