The Importance of Open Source Software
Mastodon feels a pretty, let's say, well-rounded corner of my life and I'm okay with it. One of the things I dislike is a thankfully small part of the community that I've seen on Mastodon. These are usually the types of people who have like some kind of Linux or FOS references in their bios. And they don't realize that they're effectively gatekeeping the service. That's part of the fun, though, right? For some, yes.
