After the morning pages, what i do is i shift to a ten minute yoga flow. I find that doing yoga before the meditation helps me kind of relax and ease into the meditation. The five minute meditation is short enough for me, again, to get into it without some of feeling a burden. And this is also, if you want to become a writer, a pretty good practice for not judging yourself and just unleashing your creativity.
