Nordic LARPing - I'm Gay, Why Not?

Nordic LARP had been on my radar for a while, and I've heard about this weird scene. Within like a week of signing up for these things, it's impossible to sit down at a table with other gay men who have gone through either gay conversion therapy or something like it. Gay conversion therapy still goes on in the US all the time, right? Absolutely. People who go through these gay conversion therapy camps are something like six to eight times at risk for suicide,. That doesn't make sense. If you've heard about how awful these camps are, why would you want to experience even a simulated version of that?
