How Preaching Can Shape or Form Communities

This book was actually Paul's idea and so every time that question is asked I give Paul off credit so Paul you can thank me later. Basically Paul had written a paper for the image of a homoletic society and he wanted to expand that into a book project. The editors at Baker Academic agreed that it was a book that would be helpful and necessary for our society and especially for the church. And just as Jesus commanded us in his high priestly prayer in John 17 we are to be first and foremost disciples who love each other, if this book can contribute to that that's what we're hoping for.
