If a new funder approaches you, and they seem a little bit sketchy. You really do have some responsibility to be investigating them. But it gets messy when that funder is the one who hires you in the first place. In that case, you're just one person, and you don't have the capacity to do serious due diligence. And you're you have a huge conflict of interest.

What the heck happened with FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried? Were there early warning signs that most people failed to notice? What could've been done differently, and by whom? What effects will this have on the EA movement going forward?
