Praying the Lord's Prayer

Prayer is how I ended up at this New York City bus stop at midnight sitting next to Ramon with that big suitcase in between us. Because somewhere in the midst of all those early mornings praying kingdom come, a little bit of Jesus long suffering love for this one kid had gotten into me. And so when he called that night just to say goodbye, I knew there was nowhere else I would rather be.
