What's the Myth Behind Coffee Stills?
I don't think people do understand that it's possible to make a very tasty tasty spirit, even at high proof. But for some reason with scotch, like so much of the focus traditionally has been on the single malt. The backbone of the blend is the grain whiskey and it's not just a blank canvas or, you know, some white bread. It actually also has a lot of flavour itself and has aged for years in Scotland. And I think that's one of them, the more that David and I do this, the more interested I am in the grain whiskey component of blends.
