Climate and Debt - The 25th Geneva Report

There are plenty of high income countries that are loaded with debt right now. Some are still working with the debt burden from the 2008 global financial crisis. Is it politically feasible for politicians to talk at the moment in those countries about taking on more debt? This does not need to mean more public debt. What this compulsory carbon credit market would actually be private sector. So that's a question of regulation rather than of public funding. The 25th Geneva report is called Climate and Debt.
