The Potential Harms of AI

Some of the more concrete potential harms of AI are also important to take a look at as well. One concern is around what we call disinformation, which is the risk that AI can spread falsehoods or things that seem true but are actually true. The danger with these kind of off- shelf products like chat GPT is that we start to incorporate those statements and responses into our day-to-day lives in ways that are quite hard to trace back to the AI system.
