The Role of Variance in Dating Success
The better looking you are, the better you do on a dating sight. The people who exhibit the highest variants in their appeal do by far better by variance. It's almost like an activation energy required in terms of someone approaching you or wanting to actually meet you and date you. And so we've found that that, say, five out of ten that has a high degree of variance gets the same amount of attention as conventionally attractive seven or eight.
