The Fed Can Get Away With Hitting Rates This Time
The number actually came in at minus one point four. It was on by more than they expected it to rise. Normally, when the fed starts hiking rates, the economy is blazing hot. We have this red hot labor market. The economy can withstand these rate hikes. So the fed is not concerned. It can vanquish the inflation monster, no problem. Its cain t aggressively jack up intrust rates but the economy is going to be impervious because it's so strong.
