The Major Questions Doctrine in the Supreme Court
Supreme Court has used major questions doctrine to strike down pandemic interventions, OSHA test or vaccine mandate. The argument here seems to be that the student debt relief plan is too big and too expensive and maybe too politically controversial. John Roberts: Congress like Dionne Warwick can see the future. And it should have predicted the pandemic and noted it specifically in the prospect of this kind of sweeping debt relief.
