Is the Theory of Moral Sentiments the More Innovative?

Craig Smith teaches moral philosophy at the University of Glasgow. He says Adam Smith's theory of moral sentiments is more innovative than his work on wealth of nations. But he adds that Smith was also a polymath who tried to understand all aspects of human experience.
