"It was everything I wanted from a new line of duty and I was gripped from the first minute it goes out on a bigger bang," says McCrory. "There's at least two fairly major twists in the first episode, they're planting seeds for who can you really trust us some growing questions around Ted?" He adds: "He does menace like nobody else, but he also is a very complex actor."
