The Impacts of Climate Change on Indigenous Communities

In 2009 I was part of a consortium that wrote a report to the New Kevin Rudd government about the impacts of climate change to remote indigenous communities. We found out that people are disproportionately burdened by climate change, living in poor circumstances and low levels of infrastructure. So we've seen things such as infrastructure being very important where people aren't able to get into health services or access them. How have those sorts of questions and concerns changed since those early days of establishing those programs? They've certainly changed in so far as that people are now using those as motivations to do things.
