Kant did not want to make people all into into monads. He never intended to prohibit commerce or bumming a cigarette off someone. The maximum behind your action which is something more like I think everyone should develop their talents. That is the thing that you ought to ask yourself about and ask yourself whether through your actions it should become the law for everyone.
