Ivina, What Was Your Reaction When You First Saw the First Images From the James Webb Space Telescope?
Ivana: It was really a historic day on July 12 when we got to see these first images. They surpassed certainly my expectations and after working on this telescope for more than 25 years, it was just fantastic To see the beauty also of the images as they came out in addition to sort of the huge scientific progress that is possible by them. Katherine: Could you explain to me, Katherine, why discoveries like this are really important and how they benefit society overall? I think society, or I would say mankind, really needs or likes to know where they are, what is the universe around them.
