Runahead

runahead uses saved states, so it runs ahead a couple frames and then reloads. It's great for people who really want to twist the knob and choose how many frames is right for each game. But as soon as you start messing with that stuff, you're going to get games that sometimes feel snappier and sometimes feel like something' horribly off. And where i come from, as i'm a simple man, i stoll mostly game on a crt. I too many options really, kind of like it adds friction to the process of sitting down and playing a game.
