Caesar's Ill Fated Trip to the Theatre of Pompey
Cesar was persuaded to attend the senate meeting by his loyal adjutant decimus. But when he arrived at the theatre of pompey, several hundred senators were waiting for him. The conspirators watched on from a distance as lena spoke with caesar. They worried that lena was revealing all about the plot in front of their very eyes. Fortunately for them, lena didn't reveal the conspiracy to caesar. In fact, she was petitioning caesar on something completely different. This tale is another good example of all these stories that have come to surround caesar's ill fated trip to the ides of march. And more would follow.
