I felt like a fraud the whole time because I was so unsure that this was correct. And it's pretty f***ed up to get a 13 year old to take that vow in front of everybody. Oh, man. How is that different? Devil's Advocate. Isn't that taking on adult responsibilities as a member of your church and community? Yeah, but I'm not saying I submit to the government of this church. Like I submit fully to the governance of this church or whatever.
