Weezer started out basically just trying to run in the opposite direction of heavy metal. I think we, this is before Nevermind came out, but even so we were, I guess kind of like a jeans addiction,. Um, grungy, kind of more bluesy than you think of Weezer sounding. And I think I was trying to sing with a more gravelly voice, which I'm, I don't have.
