When i got to the point where i went to select my job, that was the first time i realized and understood that i couldn't serve in the infantry. I had known it intellectually, but then what it sort of meant to not be able to contribute to the mer and the mission of the organization i had joined. And i didn't want other people to go through that again. A, i knew they could do it. B, to the extent that i could help and open that door any way, or just educate people that no whether or not you thought people women should be doing this, they already were.
