The Future of Anime
I think edginess is not as in as it used to be. I feel like there will always be a space for edginess. Maybe it won't be mainstream, but it's not as in the forefront as a used to. Attack on Titan just never tried to be like shonen or try to market itself as a younger audience. And it went here right from the get-go with a mature kind of story. It's hard to say because Attack on Titan's success is a really weird one.
