Are You Cool With Your Parents?

I was just a kid who had talent and the type of compliant personality that allowed me to fit into this, this atmosphere. So it was kind of like, I understand now with an ironic distance that like, "This happened this way," right? It happens every day out there in the in America. My mom took me away from my three siblings to create this second life rather than just, you know, divorce my dad and kind of like do the things that she needed to do for herself. She lives here now in Austin and I, yeah, we're close. And I filter the things she says around my kids. That's where she finds her value in her life. Yeah.
