"I cared about Rocky intrinsically from saying the first movie in a way that I didn't, when I originally saw Creed," he said. "When the movie kind of made that turn into like facing the painful question of like, was this just a transactional relationship? Was this just kind of a rocky helping me out, but I'm disposable?" He added: "That's where I really finally clicked into the movie."
