What Happened to the Kidnappers?

After about two months of going back and forth on the radio with the kidnappers, usually increasing their offer by three or four thousand dollars each time. Finally they a were so angry with us that they put us into what was called a silence where they said, well, we'll give you a month to think about... And basically that's it, radio silence. The silence ended up lasting for three months. After being involved in this type of negotiations, you are getting involved ina risky situation. You always try to maintain a low profile to avoid risks as much as possible.
