Anatomy of Shui's Disappointment With Anon

Shui was one of New Zealand's premier martial arts experts. His reputation had been unraveling for some time, with a group from Auckland's Chinese community discovering that he had lied about his qualifications in Beijing. He also created discord in Los Angeles after launching scathing attacks on other Tai Chi teachers around the world. Shui became increasingly controlling towards his wife and daughter Chen Shun. In September 2006 an order of protection was issued against him by child services. A year later Anon took her daughter to safety at a women's refuge where she stayed until they were able to find somewhere else to go.
