The Beauty of Brutealism
Concrete gained this reputation horrible things used to be made out of concrete. The architects who got the new brutalism started thought it was twee and crappy and ugly so they turned against it. They said if that's what it is to be humanistic then we want to be brutalistic. If you hate it you really hate it and if you love it you really love it my first book was called raw concrete the beauty of brutalism.
