I think a great book that I imagine a few people have read but many more ought to read is called leisure the basis of culture by Joseph Peeper and his basic argument is that we need to rekindle our appreciation for genuine leisure. A lot of us have settled for mere amusement or mere entertainment which will distract you from your fatigue just so long as you need to be distracted until you can fall off to sleep. The encouragement here to leisure isn't like be a snooty person from some colonial empire the encouragement is to do something that's more genuinely re-creative rather than settling for the mere amusement or entertainment. It should build up your human life it should be genuinely humanizing
