How Facilitators Bring Magic to Virtual Spaces

When I'm facilitating gatherings particularly ones with larger groups virtually I assign what I call lighthouses. Three or four people who are on different parts of the zoom screen who are not the facilitator but who have some amount of social capital in the room to just pay attention to the energy of the group. Great facilitators sort of try to cultivate a deep sense of what the system needs without versus what a client needs so I often say like my client quote unquote is the deep I'm trying to serve the deepest need of the system and there's discernment in thatI have you may not agree with the deepWhat I think the deepest is like that person who hired me like I'm serving
