Putin's Presidency Will Be Over if Putin Loses This War

Putin is acutely aware that if he fails in Ukraine, and he can fail in Ukraine, there's no guarantee of victory by enemies for the Russian military. If Putin loses this war, I feel safe making this prediction: It will be game over for Vladimir Putin. The stakes, if anything, are higher for Ukraine. This is a no-holds-barred existential war for both countries.
