In 18 28, she actually turned to philadelphia to pursue medical education. She found pretty quickly this young woman had a natural inclination towards healing. But formal medical education was completely cut off to women. I mean, elizabeth blackwell wouldn't earn her degree until 18 forty nine. And co education didn't truly t until the 18 seventies.
