Pep Guardiola's Dynamic Double Pivot
The idea is that a static double pivot can sometimes stifle passing angles and the ability to play through teams. But when we talk about a dynamic double pivot, that's probably more towards what we see from Guardiola to teams where the key is moving off the ball. In his first season or second season, there was almost controversy that he was favouring Busquets over Larm in Turre. And even though he's had some good players since, I still think of him as maybe the best fit for Guardiola at Man City.
